First At Home/Chez Soi Publications Announced

The Institute of Urban Studies has been the co-lead research organization (along with the Dept. of Psychiatry at the University of Manitoba) on “At Home/Chez Soi” a $110 million project researching a “housing first” intervention aimed at addressing mental illness and homelessness. The first peer-reviewed publications are now emerging from the project. Among them is “The At Home/Chez Soi trial protocol: a pragmatic, multi-site, randomised controlled trial of a Housing First intervention for homeless individuals with mental illness in five Canadian cities” co-written by IUS Director Dr. Jino Distasio.
